Terms & Conditions for Drysdale Retirement Village $3,000 Cashback
The below terms and conditions refer to the above-mentioned Drysdale Retirement Village $3000 cashback promotion.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing a unit and participating in the Drysdale Retirement Village cash back promotion:
1: Instructions and information about how to claim the cash back offer form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. Participation in this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2: The Promoter Southern Estates ABN 44 653 070 493 (with its principal place of business at 4 Claremont Ave, Malvern, Victoria 3143)
3: The Promotion will be offered within Australia, to residents who are aged 55 years and over.
4: The Promotion will commence at 9am A.E.S.T. on 1 June 2025 and conclude by the close of business of 31st August 2025 (“Promotional Period”).
5: All applications to redeem the cash back offer must be made before 5:00pm A.E.D.T. on 31st December 2025 (“Closing Date”). No exceptions will be made for late or incomplete applications.
HOW TO CLAIM THE CASH BACK OFFER:
To participate in this Promotion and be eligible to claim the cash back offer, a customer must:
(a) Sign a Memorandum of Sale, for purchase of a unit at the Drysdale Retirement Village, during the promotional period (1st June 2025 – 31st August 2025), and have settlement finalised no later than the closing date of 31st December 2025.
(b) submit the Cashback application form to the Drysdale Retirement Village to redeem the cash back offer prior to the Closing Date of this Promotion; (this form will be supplied at signing of the Memorandum of Sale or upon request). and (c) comply with all the other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
6: A claim for cash back can only be made by the purchaser/s who has signed the Memorandum of Sale, and the subsequent Contract of Sale.
7: Southern Estates shall not accept liability or responsibility for any claims that are not received by Drysdale Retirement Village by the Closing Date.
CASH BACK OFFER
8: The cash back offer is;
(a) $3000 to be paid upon the purchase of a unit at the Drysdale Retirement Village, during the offer’s promotional period, with settlement to be finalised no later than 31st December 2025.
(b) only one claim is to be submitted and paid.
9: The cash back is not transferrable or assignable.
10: Any costs associated with claiming the cash back offer are the responsibility of the customer.
PAYMENT
11: Once a claim has been received and accepted by Southern Estates, payment will be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into the bank account nominated by the customer on the application form submitted to Drysdale Retirement Village, within 45 days of the completed application being received, verified and accepted.
12: Making a fraudulent claim is a serious criminal offence. By submitting an application, the customer warrants and represents to Southern Estates that:
(a) they are entitled to make the application for the cash back;
(b) the information they have provided to Southern Estates in the application is correct, reliable and accurate; and
(c) the bank account details provided in the application belong to the person entitled to apply for the cash back or are provided with that person’s express authority.
13. By submitting an application, the customer authorises Southern Estates to make payment into the bank account they describe in the application form.
14: Southern Estates is not responsible for any delays in payment or errors due to factors outside of its reasonable control, including delays or errors in the financial system or errors in the bank account details supplied by the customer on the application form.
15: By submitting an application, the customer acknowledges that Southern Estates is relying on them to provide correct, reliable and accurate information in relation to their bank account and acknowledges that Southern Estates shall not be liable or responsible if the customer provides incorrect details and payment is mistakenly made by Southern Estates to someone else. The customer accepts this as a condition of the Promotion. If incorrect banking details are provided by the customer and a trace is required to locate the funds, there will be a charge (which varies by banking institution) which shall be payable by the customer.
GENERAL
16: This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
17: Southern Estates at its discretion may extend the closing date of the Promotional Period, and the Closing Date for applications to redeem the cash back offer.
18: Southern Estates decisions in relation to all aspects of the Promotion and matters pertaining to it are final and binding on each customer/claimant and no correspondence shall be entered into.
19: Failure by Southern Estates at any stage to enforce its rights contained within these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20:Southern Estates and its related entities, shall not be liable for any loss or claim, action, demand, liability, cost, expense or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential loss) incurred, suffered or sustained by any person or entity (without limitation) in connection with, or arising from, the Promotion or the acceptance of the cash back offer, except that which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
21: Southern Estates reserves the right to refuse claims, at any time, in the event of non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions
